On a dance floor Natural Disaster is the quiet guy at the back patiently waiting for the night to begin. Behind the decks however, hes a massive beast demanding attention. Having started on the circuit at a similar time as Digital Dream this veteran has had a big impact on the Johannesburg scene for around a decade and a half. Riaan is the type of old schooler who insists on playing 86 hours sets just so he can showcase a fragment of what he’d like to. Expect classic grinding dark-psy with a large Hi-Tech influence. Riaan and Organoise have an act together called “Peak Pilots” (album out on our Bandcamp). He also has a second slower act called “Phadoof“.
